Our approach
- Photography and filming should have a clear and appropriate football purpose.
- Images should show children in suitable football settings and clothing.
- Photography or filming is not permitted in changing rooms, toilets or other private areas.
- Personal information should not be unnecessarily published alongside a child’s image.
- Parents and carers should be made aware of how club images may be used.
Matchday & event photography
Where photography or filming takes place at matches, festivals or club events, it must be carried out responsibly. Anyone whose behaviour with a camera causes concern should be reported to a club official or Welfare Officer.
Social media & sharing
Club images should be shared through appropriate channels and should never be used to embarrass, bully, exploit or humiliate a child. Images must not be altered or presented in a way that could place a young person at risk.
Raising a concern
If you are concerned about the way an image or video has been taken, used or shared, contact the Club Welfare Officer. Where the concern may involve safeguarding, the club will follow its reporting procedure.
