Our current teams are U7, U8, U8 Whites, U9, U11, U12, U12 AFC and U14. Availability can change during the season, so the Our Teams page shows the latest recruitment status for each squad.
Does my child need to trial before being offered a place?
Yes. Prospective players will be asked to attend a trial with the relevant team. The coaches will assess whether the team is the right fit for the player at their current stage of development.
Does submitting an enquiry guarantee a place?
No. An enquiry starts the process, but it does not guarantee a place. Any offer is made by the relevant team coaches after the player has trialled.
What does Limited Spaces mean?
It means the team may have a small number of opportunities available, but players will still need to trial and the coaches will decide whether a place can be offered.
What happens if the team is Full?
You can still join that team’s waiting list. If a suitable place becomes available, the club can use the details supplied to get back in touch.
Which leagues do Carlisle Galaxy teams play in?
U7, U8, U8 Whites, U9, U11, U12 and U14 play in the Carlisle Glass Longhorn League. U12 AFC plays in the Penrith & District League.
What is different about U12 AFC?

When and where do teams train?
Training days, times and venues can vary by team and through the season. The relevant team will confirm current training and trial information after an enquiry is received.
How much does it cost to join?
Team fees can vary by age group and season. The relevant team will explain current costs before a player or parent is asked to make any commitment.
Who should I contact about safeguarding?
Safeguarding information, club contacts and reporting procedures are available on the Safeguarding page. If there is an immediate danger, contact the emergency services.
How do I register my child’s interest?
